The workshop “Co-designing child-robot-interactions” explored approaches for designing robots for children that incorporate the needs and preferences of children, themselves. Blue Ocean Robotics presented results and findings from a longitudinal, CRI study of social robots deployed “in the wild” (outside of the lab) in Danish educational settings and how these experiences are used in the BabyRobot project to improve CRI and develop more interactive social robots.
BabyRobot will be presented by partner Athena RC in the occasion of “Paneuropean Researcher’s Night 2016”, which will take place at the National Centre of Scientific Research “Demokritos” (Athens, Greece) premises on 30th of September 2016. It will also be presented during a pre-event which will take place on 27th of September, at the Athena RC premises. The objective of these events is to provide information about current research programs and achievements to students, researchers, the industry and the general public.
